THE IMPLEMENTATION OF EXPERIENTIAL LEARNING IN TEACHING ENGLISH IN MANAGEMENT DEPARTMENT

The objective of this research is to describe the implementation of experiential learning in teaching EFL in Management Department. The experiential learning model can enhance the students’ knowledge and develop his or her skills in learning through the experiences. This study applied qualitative research by using observation, recording and questionnaire as the instruments. The data were analyzed through data reduction, data display and conclusion. The experiential learning is helpful in teaching English in order to overcome the students self confidence, active and to express their thoughts effectively. Finally, experiential learning gives some potential benefits not only for students’ language development, but also empowering their independent learning, motivation, and character.
