IMPLEMENTATION OF TAKING NOTE SKILL IN INDONESIAN LEARNING ON SEMESTER GASAL 2016/2017 IN MTS KAPETAKAN OF CIREBON

This study aims to generate a description of, note setting using the note taking of learners, identifying important and unimportant information by taking a student’s note taking, and recording quickly using the students’ take-note VIII class MTs Kapetakan Cirebon. This research is qualitative approach with descriptive type. Object data in this study is the students’ notes students class VIII MTs Kapetakan Cirebon. In the provision of data used method refers to the basic techniques tapping and record techniques. The instrument of this research is the researcher who plays the role of collecting data, analyzing the data, and concluding the result of data analysis to answer the research problem. The data collection procedure of this research is selection of data source, data determination, data selection, and data recording. Data analysis technique in this research used descriptive analysis method. Data analysis procedures consist of, data review, data reduction, data analysis, data deduction and validity checking of data. The results showed that first, dominasis in strategy shows the purpose by knowing the definition, description, and example, and classification in the record of students of class VIII. Second, students can record the meaning in a sentence presented by the teacher, the student also presents a sentence by describing it and giving it an example in a data, and the student can compare sentence one with other sentence. Third, students can record quickly with abbreviations and symbols in their notes.
