REACT (RELATING, EXPERIENTING, ACTIVATING, COOPERATING, TRANSFERING) METHOD USING LKS EFFECTIVENESS ON SOCIAL SKILL OF PRIMARY STUDENTS

ABSTRACT
Social skill is one of important aspects in education. Unfortunately, social skill learning in primary less noticed. Thats why primary students have low social skill. This study aims to investigate REACT method using LKS effectiveness to improve social skill of primary students. This study used quantitative approach within quasi experimental method. Design of this research was nonequivalent control group. Therefore, the sampling technique of this research was not done randomly. Samples of this research were fifth grade of SDN 2 Lembang. The instrument of this research used observation sheet within Likert scale. Meanwhile, data analysis was done through SPSS 20 for windows program namely normality test, homogeneity test, and t-test. The result of this research shows that social skill of primary students improved by using REACT method using LKS. Based on the results of this research, it can be concluded that REACT method using LKS effective to improve social skill students. REACT method can be alternative by teacher to create active, effective, and joyful learning
