HIGHER EDUCATION: COMPUTER ASSISTED LANGUAGE LEARNING IN UNIVERSITY LEVEL

ABSTRACT
This paper discusses how the phenomenon of information era that more improving today as one of challenging as well as opportunity for education field in Indonesia for university level. With all challenge and opportunity, they got positive and the negative aspects. This paper, not only discuss of how the implementation in teaching language in information era in formal education for university level. Computer assisted language learning can give the benefit such as independent learning that cannot be taught by teaching in traditional way. It can be concluded that the basically of this learning program will show the target of teaching without the face to face meeting of lecturer and the students in a class. The students are able to learn the material any time based on their availability and ability. The lecturer roles as motivator and facilitator very useful when they ask and guide the students in unlimited globalization world, so the students will be success in new creative era.
