ABSTRACT
The purpose of this research is to know the influence of model learning towards the results of the basic chemistry 1 of the students. Knowing the influence of student’s interest in basic chemical course 1 towards the results of the basic chemistry 1 of the students. Know how the interaction model of learning and student interest in courses of basic chemistry 1 are jointly against the results of the study of basic chemistry 1 of the students. Research conducted with the model experiments. The population is affordable is a student at semester 3 of Mathematics Education in University of Indraprasta PGRI jakarta in 2014/2015 lessons as much as 320 students. Large sample as many as 60 students, with the sampling technique used i.e. multi stage sampling. Research instrument used i.e. basic chemistry learning outcomes tests I multiple choice form with the option as much as 24 to questions validity that have been tested with reliability coefficient = 0.89; and now the interest of students in basic chemistry course 1 as many as 28 grains that have been tested with reliability coefficients, validity = 0.90. Hypothesis testing results obtained the following conclusions: (1) the results of the study of basic chemistry I student taught with learning models MORE significantly higher than on learning model taught in Advance Organizer. (2) Student who have a high interest in basic chemical courses 1 have the results of the study of chemistry is higher than students who have a low interest in basic chemical courses 1. (3) There is no influence of the interaction between the learning and interest of students in basic chemistry courses 1 towards the result of basic chemical 1
Key Words: MORE, Student Interest, Chemistry 1 Learning Outcomes.
