WRITTEN FEEDBACK IN THESIS PROPOSAL OF UNDERGRADUATE LEVEL: STUDENTS’ ATTITUDES

ABSTRACT
In ndonesian context, students mostly rely on supervisors’ feedback to direct them how to write thesis proposal. Feedback is considered as one of the indicators whether a research supervision is good for the important role of written feedback in the completion of thesis writing. The present study designates students’ attitudes towards written feedback provided by supervisors in thesis proposal writing. The data were collected from students who were in the process of writing thesis proposal through interview. The collected data were then analyzed by using content analysis. The result of the study shows that students considered written feedback as important help for the progress of thesis proposal writing. The results of the study will be possibly used by the educational institution to address written feedback as a whole topic, as it only be truly effective when embedded in a whole institution policy which is constantly applied
