 Abstract

This study aims to develop Mathematics Student Worksheet based on metacognitive strategy. This research method uses the risearch and development model of Dick & Carey development. The process of this research is carried out in the following sequence of activities: 1. Conducting needs analysis, 2) determining general instructional objectives, 3) determining competency map, 4) reviewing the characteristics and backgrounds of learners, 5) specifying specific instructional goals, Assessment, 7) determining learning strategy, 8) determining learning materials, 9) conducting formative evaluation, and last 10) implementing summative evaluation and diffusion of learning innovation. This research is a multi-year research with effective and efficient worksheet design as a result, while this article is the result of first year research which will discuss the result of requirement analysis to get general instructional objectives and special instructional objectives
