THE ROLE OF PRIMARY YEARS PROGRAMME(PYP) COORDINATOR IN SUPPORTING TEACHERS TO FACILITATE STUDENTS’ EXHIBITION

ABSTRACT This report is in particular looking at practice as a Primary Years Programme coordinator to answer the following: How does Primary Years Programme (PYP) coordinator support teachers (teacher mentor and grade 5 teachers) to facilitate students’ exhibition? The grade 5 exhibition as a significant event involving the whole school community, such as students, teachers, as well as parents. The exhibition could be used as one strategy in the schoolbased professional development by provoking the needs of learning community. The result shows that exhibition could create condition for teachers to be aware of the needs of learning and also learning from community of teachers
