CHARACTERISTICS OF LECTURER’S SPEECH ACT IN FORMING STUDENTS’ SELF-RELIANCE IN INDONESIAN LANGUAGE LEARNING

ABSTRACT

As the teachers, we must have good quality in the education field. One of them is a personal qualification in education like writing a scientific work/research. Students autonomous learning’s activity is needed here to reach this goal. The goal can be reached by the way how the teachers speak and give oral communication in the learning process. This research is conducted to know and describe how the oral communication characteristics are. Building an autonomous learning activity in Bahasa Indonesia lecture in STKIP PGRI Pasuruan. It is a descriptive qualitative research. The research data was gotten from the oral communication characteristics of the lectures in Bahasa Indonesia lecture. The nonparticipant observation was used in this research. The instrument was called table filter data. The result of this research are : a. there are 11 types of the lectures’ oral communication characteristics. B. There are 5 functions of oral communication. C. there are 7 strategies in writing a scientific work/research used in Bahasa Indonesia’s lecturers’ oral communication
